Championship rallying returns to Yorkshire next month with the fourth round of the British Trials and Rally Drivers Association Gold Star and Silver Star series.

The Peugeot Sport Gold Star and Clear System Solutions Silver Star competitors form the premier clubman's rally series in the U.K. The events are as ever incorporated in the North Humberside Forest Rally.

The popular event, promoted by North Humberside Motor Club, returns for the third time to the City of Hull and this year features a stage around the tarmac of the famous Olivers Mount motor cycle circuit as well as the usual high speed loose surface forest roads.

Another newcomer championship to the North Humberside rally, which takes place on Saturday 5th April, is a round of the Nissan Micra Challenge, the North Humberside rally forms the first round of this increasingly popular one make series.

Amongst the entries received so far are those from Alastair Tough (Inverness - Mitsubishi Galant VR4), Brian Bell (Skegness - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 4) and also rally school proprietor Chris Birkbeck in a Ford Escort.
